Peanut Sauce
Profile#
This sauce belongs to the Satay which you can also find here. You can eat the skewers warm with rice, but also cold as finger food. Either way, it’s easy to make and tastes great.
Ingredients#
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 3 tsp yellow curry paste
- 300ml coconut milk (the rest will be used for the peanut sauce)
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1 chili
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Let’s go#
The ingredients are quite clear:
Chop the chili and fry lightly with the curry paste in a little oil.
After a short time, add the peanut butter and mix everything. The butter will melt a bit.
Add two-thirds of a can of coconut milk, turn down the heat a little and simmer for 10 minutes.
That was it, the sauce can be filled in a bowl so that later on everyone can take as much as he wants.
It’s a perfect combo to enjoy with the Gomaae Spinach (a Japanese spinach salad).
